Fundfusion 2010 Statement

Fundfusion was established three years ago to provide high quality and meaningful information to the bleeding disorder chapters in order to improve and enhance fundraising efforts locally, regionally and nationally. While the conferences have been successful in conveying meaningful and useful information, it has been challenging to measure what improvements have been implemented and the actual impact it has had on fundraising efforts at the chapters. In an effort to provide a greater impact and increased value, we have changed the format this year to provide a more intense and hands-on learning experience for the attendees. Fundfusion 2010 is a workshop with 6 to 8 chapters focused on achievable activities that are relatively easy to implement and should result in an increase in incremental revenue per chapter. It provide hands-on working sessions where attendees are developing their own realistic and individualized fundraising plan with expert assistance, taking into account current and future limitations, with a measurable, detailed implementation timeline. Attendees will be actively engaged in working with the consultants in determining what works best for their chapter. On going collaboration with the consultants will be provided after the conference to help chapters achieve their plan.

We are identifying chapters based on their ability to implement the fundraising strategies that would most benefit from the program, as well as their commitment to fulfill all expectations and deliverables required of them before, during and after the conference.

Fundfusion 2010 is May 3 – 4, 2010 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Fundfusion continues to be funded by Baxter and enables us to provide this very beneficial opportunity to our bleeding disorder community.

We wish we could invite all chapters back for Fundfusion 2010, but it is not possible given the new program and the number of participants allowed. If you are interested in finding out more about Fundfusion 2010, please contact Alexis Christensen at 602-955-3947 or alexis@hemophiliaz.org.
